''Gaeil Na Life ''Academy is run every Saturday morning in the Club Hall.

The Academy is open to boys and girls for Football, Hurling and Camogie. Hurls and Helmets are provided but it is recommended that you purchase equipment from the club shop which is open on Saturday mornings ,Liffey Gaels is extremley proud of its youth academy led by Dave Farrelly and Sinead Lennon. Meeting every Saturday morning from 10.30 to 12 noon, the very basics of GAA are taught in an enjoyable yet effective way in line with the GAA's "ABC" and "Have A Ball" programmes.

The games and excercises are designed to develop fundemental movement skills for children age 4 to 8 years old. These movement skills include agility, balance, coordination, running and jumping. They also develop basic motor skills- ability to play with and manipulate the ball- throwing, kicking, catching, passing and striking.

It is obvious that the children enjoy their weekly session in the club and their parents too who get to interact with the children and encourage them along the way. Sinead and Dave are doing a great job in preparing the children for progression further within our active Juvenile section.

Please do not hesitate to offer assistance to the mentors as the more parents that are involved the more enjoyable it is for all concerned.
